How It Works

  • Audience opens the link in any browser
  • When you advance slides, they see it immediately
  • Audience can't navigate independently (they follow you)
  • No login required for viewers

Live Session Controls

During a live session, you can:

  • Pause sync - Let audience explore freely
  • Resume sync - Bring everyone back to your slide
  • See viewer count - How many are watching
  • End session - Close the live link

Audience View

Viewers see:

  • Clean, full-screen slides
  • No presenter notes
  • "LIVE" indicator
  • Current slide number

Troubleshooting

Display Issues

Slides not fitting:

  • Check your display resolution
  • Try a different browser
  • Use fullscreen mode

Fonts look wrong:

  • Wait for fonts to load
  • Check internet connection

Live Sync Issues

Audience not seeing updates:

  • Check they have the correct link
  • Verify your internet connection
  • Try refreshing the session

High latency:

  • Audience location affects sync speed
  • Consider recording for distant viewers

Presenter View Issues

Can't open presenter view:

  • Allow pop-ups for opus.phd
  • Try right-click > Open presenter view
  • Some browsers block pop-ups

Best Practices

Before Presenting

  1. Practice - Run through at least once
  2. Check equipment - Display, audio, clicker
  3. Test live sync - If using remote audience
  4. Close notifications - Avoid interruptions

During Presenting

  1. Use presenter view - Don't rely on memory
  2. Watch the timer - Stay on pace
  3. Face the audience - Not the screen
  4. Pause - Let important points sink in

Technical Backup

  • Export to PDF - Have offline backup
  • Local copy - In case of internet issues
